What began as a vision has grown into a hands-on, immersive learning experience for our students. From the very start, students work together to bring their vision to life, mapping out life-sized grids on the ground to create the maze layout. Along the way, they learn valuable skills in agriculture, engineering,and design, from building an irrigation system to planting, harvesting, and preserving crops.
Each year , students have the opportunity to participate in our annual Corn Maze Design Contest, where they submit their creative ideas for the mazes layout. The winning design is then brought to life, with students helping to plant the maze’s intricate pathways, ensuring their vision is realized in the field. Through this hands-on process, students gain practical knowledge, foster teamwork, and experience the rewards of seeing their work come to fruition, year after year.
